Water Pump hoses

Hello everyone! This seems like a very simple problem but I cant seem to come up with a good answer. 1997 V-6 Camaro, water pump hoses going to heater core one of them is 3/4 inch and the other 5/8 the problem is the connectors on the water pump are 1 1/4, they are part of the pump no threads so I cant change the size, I have created a fitting with thread pipes and barb fittings but it is very primitive. Has anyone had this problem, I don't know if the previous owner replaced the water pump and the sizes are different or why it is this way???

The original factory heater hoses are a molder set of 2 hoses made to fit the pipes coming out of the water pump. They look to have special fittings on small size hose to fit the wp outlet pipes. If you would pm me with an e-mail address, I could send you the pdf page out of the exploded parts diagram book for your year. Or you can go to the 4th gen section, in the regular threads, you will find the 94 & 98 f-body service manual thread. If you click on the link in the thread, there are also firebird exploded parts pdf files there you can download.. And while the firebird will have differences in some areas from the camaro, for the engine, trans, heater hose, etc, both cars are exactly the same.
