Ok guess I'm lost again then. I'll just have to start throwing parts at it. All fuel pressures check out. Maf is good. Map readings are good. Coil and icm are good. Apparently the O2's are good.

No never at idle. The car runs and drives awesome. Just every so often its like it wants to cut out and die. I'm talking like once every 20 mins of driving. Then ill let it recover and it will run perfect again. Then a lil while down the road it wants to cut out again. Very random times.

Not sure if you are familiar with this site. This is shoe box's site. Lot of good info on there, although there are some changes in the 96-97 LT1's.

Another suggestion i would give is to invest in a FSM (Factory Service Manual) you can find them on ebay for around 50 bucks!
 
Opti's can be hard to pin down as the problem when they are not failing bad enough to trip a code.
I drove mine for about two years with an intermittant idle stumble that would only show up after sitting in traffic in the summer.
It finally got bad enough to set a code this year.
