Bought a set of headers a few weeks back, they were in good shape just needed a little cleaning up. After getting some help identifying them, I found out they are MAC TF9450 ceramic for 95 to 97 cars. I would like to use them on my 1993 car. Anyone know why they would not work? Would be nice to know before I try the install?

If they were made for dual cat cars, then they may be tough to install if they do not have a Y pipe.

Otherwise, the only issue will be emissions, if you plan on not running EGR/AIR, then they will work fine.

I assumed that they were for dual cat cars, i am mostly concerned with fit around the engine compartment. They looked to be formed differently than the 93 versions.

I think that AIR and EGR can be deleted.

If you replace the stock catted Y pipe and the new headers have a ORY, then you should be good to go.

Only issue will be mating the MAC Y to your catback.

Have any pics?
