I have a stock 95 t/a with the stock 16s on it , will 275/40/17 fit problem free?

Factory SS wheels are 9.5 wide, as long as you have the correct backspacing they should work. I run a 17x11 with 315/35-17s in the rear. What wheels are you using?

It will fit, like I said the SS wheels are 9.5s. Do a search and find the backspacing before you order. I want to say it's 7.5 for a 10in wheel but double check.

275/40/17 all around is very common. The variation is usually 275/40/17 up front and 315/35/17 out back. Usually no fitment issues doing either.

I'm running OEM C5 wheels which I believe are 17x8.5 and the rear wheels are 275mm so you should be fine

Edit:OP:Just saw you are trying to fit a tire meant for a 17 inch wheel on the factory 16 inch wheel. Never actually tried it but I would assume its not going to work. Need to upgrade to 17 inch wheels. Correct me if I'm wrong fellas....

He said a few replies down he's gettings torque thrusts. As long as they are 17 inch, they will fit. The R16 or R17 in a tire size refers to the rim diameter so yes, that has to match your actual rim size.

I have the same exact tire on my z they fit great no issues. Once you go up to 315's you have to trim some stuff so they don't rub
