Hi Everyone,

I have a 2000 WS6 with about 86K miles. For the last few years, I have been getting suspension squeaking noises in the front and creaking noises in the rear. Has gotten worse little by little over the years. Suspension is all original. Is there a cheap and easy way to remedy this? My mechanic says he can't find anything to lube. Thanks very much.

If your mechanic did an inspection, and everything checks out, is tight, no worn bushings, etc, there is a possiblity that the squeaks and rattles are from the car its self. 4th gen F-bodies are known for all sorts of noises.

T-tops are known to rattle, as well as the rear hatch. The interior, with all that wonderful plastic, is also a prime source for noise.

That thread goes over all sorts of nosies these cars make, and what people have done to fix them.

Good luck!
