Hey guys. I’ve had this ‘93 Trans Am for about two months, rebuilt LT1 motor and 6-spd trans, headers, straightpiped, etc.
I’ve been having this high pitched whining noise for about a month and cannot locate the cause. I’ve sprayed water and starting fluid all around where I hear it (near the throttle body on the passenger side) but nothing changes. I’ve tightened the throttle body bolts again and that didn’t work.
Any suggestions? I’m trying to improve my crappy performance: already replaced the worn o2 sensors. But I still have too much fuel dumping into the exhaust causing aggressive pops/ backfire that I don’t exactly want. The motor was not tuned after being rebuilt either
