I never even powershifted mine either. I had just had some bad luck. That was fine though, cause I upgraded to the RAM 6130/402 combo, and also updated my slave to the GM "145" at the same time, as well as the Mcleod Billet Adj. Master Cyl.. But, keep in mind, I did all this when "decent" aftermarket clutches were just coming out for the LS1. As a matter of fact, I was only the 3rd person to have ran the RAM set-up. Java, not sure if you'll know him or not, did all the testing for RAM for this clutch, and I was able to get one through him and RAM before it was actually released. ;)

My 99 blew it's first transmission at about 800 miles. Then 2400 miles. Then 8K miles. I didn't give it another opportunity, I made Pontiac do a lemon law buyback.

Aparrently it had the shifter holes misaligned. The first time the sucker ate itself internally, it was terrible. Second and third time was the 5th and 6 gear synchros.

Well I killed my T-56 w/ 380 RWHP. It wont last long powershifting a stocker. Lots of runs though, 100's.
My car is a 2000 as well have to remember they have the paper lined blocker rings & the aluminum shift fork. The 01's & up had the carbon fiber rings & started mid year installing the steel 3/4 fork.
I have 3 T-56's I just swap them out as they go. Cannot wait to build a face plate geared T-56, whenever the parts come out.
That will be nice a proshifted trans that can do 7K shifts & last.
Chris if your goes LMK not real bad to rebuild them. The parts are the expensive part.

I was. I was paying an exorborant amount of money to drive a freaking Grand Am most of the time while my T/A was in the shop. Hence, the lemon law buyback.
