This is ALWAYS a good thread.

I'm currently active duty Air Force. 1A071, In-Flight Refueling Specialist on the KC-10 Extender. I've been in for 8 1/2 years now, and just found out in June that I made E-6, so I'm still on the fast track as I'll pin on at just under 9 years with an average of 14 years. I have 50+ combat sorties under my belt for Operations Enduring Freedom and Iraqi Freedom, and have a lot of time playing in the sandbox. Intent on making it to 20 and retiring, and the opening my own performance shop. The Air Force does me well.

I work for Briggs and Stratton. I'm involved with a joint venture between Briggs and Daihatsu Motor Company to market and sell a 3 cyl liquid cooled industrial engine. I do a variety of things from Inside sales and technical help, to inventory control, purchasing, and pricing.

It's alot like Office Space but without Jennifer Anniston. I mostly sit in front of this damn computer and pretend to look busy.

I work at Vanderbilt University Medical Center as a Patient Services Representative. Money isn't great, but Vanderbilt is a great career place, so I may be entry level now, but give me a few years. LoL

Or at least that's what you tell the two Bobs. :D

I also sit in front of a computer all day long. My title is "Software Design Specialist". NJ state work. It pays most of the bills.

Day job is working for Tennessee Dept. of Transportation's Information Technology division as the low man in the purchasing loop (read: I do alot of paperwork).

Night job is working for UPS slinging the boxes your car parts come in. That is my main job even though I'm part time there and full time at TDOT. I make almost as much each paycheck working half the time, not to mention free medical, dental, and optical insurance including specialty doctors like my chiropractor I like going to so much. :D

Neither are "career" jobs for me. I'm a college student on leave in my mind. 2.5 years of school down, 1.5 to go. Too many bills to be able to live while going to school, so I'm catching up and can't wait to get back.
