This happened once before. not sure what that "pop" noise is from....

Fuel pump replaced 2-3 years ago, 3000 miles on new pump. Spark plugs, wires, and Optispark just changed 4 months ago.

Warm starts are fine, engine runs fine (except for slight tick that comes and goes).

Usually, a pop during cold start indicates a too lean mixture. I'd put car on an obd 2 scanner and check injector open time.

If that's good see if coolant temp for pcm is reading correctly. The pcm cts reading too high a temp can cause a lean mixture.

If all is well, then check for vacuum leakes, especially around throttle body. Extra unmetered air can cause lean mixture. And during a cold start, pcm is not receiving info from o2 sensors. So pcm won't correct for lean mixture.

Next move on to check fuel injector spray patterns. Partially clogged fuel injectors don't spray the proper amount of fuel when engine cold and needs a richer mixture. When engine warmed up & mixture can be leaner, engine will run ok.

Thanks cocobolo95. Thinking it might be slightly clogged injectors because if you saw my video, 2nd start attempt it cranked normally but felt like it didnt want to wake up. However if I shut it down right after that cold start, it starts up beautifully.

I refilled yesterday and added stabil 360 (says it stabilizes fuel and cleans fuel system). Might try a bottle of techron once the weather gets nicer and I start driving it more.
