Ok so I bought my camaro 3 weeks ago been trying to get it ready well I took it for a spin and i relized the temp gauge doesn't work at all and I noticed there's a switch mounted that controls the fan... But I would like to find out the reason why it doesn't work anymore because I would rather drive the car and it auto turn the fans on lol, any ideas haven't had a chance to check it out yet but looking for suggesting ..... Where is temp gauge sensor that controls the gague, also the coolent sensor must be bad because the light is always on mean while there's coolant please help!!!

My understanding is the sensor by the water pump with a black plastic housing controls the fans and talks to the computer

the one on the driver side head and has a grey plastic housing communicates with the gauge

good luck
