Voltage gauge is reading closer to the red

got a quick question. My volt meter is starting to show a higher reading going up towards the red. Not down towards the orange, my battery reads a solid 12.57 cold haven't checked when its warm.

Just wondering if that's alt or battery issue? Or are my gauges being a drama queen like all foodies do
