i am putting my motor together and i have a hotcam in it i live in cali so wanted to pass the sniffer i have pro form junk self alighning rocker arms i was going to ditch them and run guide plates and studs what are some part #'s or are they just standerd sbc guides plates and studs raised or flat guide plates also im going to buy a new set of rockers and was looking at harland sharp they have a 1.65 ratio and would increase my lift to .544 .544 on my hot cam any input on what to buy would be great thanks

GM guideplates are PN# 14011051. On an LT1 they are really your only choice as the Comps don't align the rockers directly over the valve tips like the GM ones.

My calculation says with 1.65s the Hotcam would be .541/.541, not .544. Should be fine but I dont' think you'll pick up a ton of HP from it.

yeah i mean im buying rocker arms anyways so figured maybe couldnt hurt thank for the part # for the guide plate i was just going to buy the comp cams saved me some grief
