Guys, this is JUST a feeler to see if the interest would be there. I'm looking at selling my motor off as I'm sick of dealing with it. Here's what would be for sale:
355 Shortblock built by AP Engineering (before the trouble started). 4.030 bore, decked, Eagle ESP Crank, 2 bolt mains, Eagle ESP Forged 5.7" H-Beam Rods, Diamond Ultra-Lite Pistons, Diamond Pro-Select rings, Federal Mogul main bearings, Clevite Rod/Cam bearings. 11.0:1 compression ratio on a stock head.
Ported LT1 heads: 175CC Intake runners, 52CC Combustion chambers, milled .015", flow numbers can be found in my sig under the black cars page. Peak was about .550 at 260/203 (no pipe) with no drop off at .600 lift. These heads are not huge but were ported with velocity in mind. I made 375/363 RWHP/TQ with these heads and a 224/230 XE Cam through a full exhaust WITH a cat. No tricks. Heads have XE Components 618 springs set up at 1.8" installed height (150# seat pressure, 350# @ .600 lift) with Comp chromemoly hardware. 7/16" ARP Rocker Studs.
Intake Manifold is a port matched 93 LT1 manifold that is powdercoated red and clearanced for a 58MM TB. The manifold has been cut to match the mating surfaces on the cylinder heads. I'd prefer to sell the manifold with the heads as it's all been cut to match up at this point.
Camshaft: Joe Overton custom grind to match the heads. Specs that I have will go to buyer.
Timing Set is a Cloyes True Roller and will go with the motor.
I've got a LOT of money and a lot of good parts in this motor, and like I said before this is just a feeler to see what kind of offers I'd get. If the price it right, I'll let it go. I'll sell seperately or as a whole. Throw me a bone here.
