I am planning on replacing my throttle position sensor on my 96
Roadmaster wagon (lt1) . Does anyone know if any gaskets,o rings ,
or anything else will be necessary for this change? Thanks ed

No, there are 2 screws that hold it in so, it unplugs and pops right out, there is a orange rubbery gasket--like thing behind the TPS in the throttle body TPS hole but, you could reuse it and a new TPS doesn't come with one....or I never had a new gasket come with one in the box.

Gaskets should come with your new TB. The intake to TB gasket and the gasket under the TB for the coolant pass thru piece. The orange foam TPS gasket thing can be reused. Which one are you are thinking of buying?

I am buying the GM 17106680 ORIG EQUIP PARTS.I have always been
told to stick with GM when it comes to parts like this. What do you
suggest? ed

Standard products is a pretty good piece. Have a few of their sensors on my car and they work good
