Alright is there that much of a difference in throttle bodies relating to power gain from the 52mm to the 58mm? Also are all throttle bodies emissions legal in california?

Depends on your power levels...for stock or near stock the 48mm flows plenty...52mm is a good bolt on mod, but autos will need tuning to account for how the TPS%/shift tables are affected. 58mm is really only necessary for built motors IMO.

AFAIK they are all smog legal and particularly if you get a stocker bored to 52mm they're never going to know the difference anyway :D

Hey thanks for the quick reply, yeah i was just window shopping like i do every day and decided to ask. Didn't know it would need tunning after that though. Thanks again.

with the mods you have listed, it would be a huge waste of money to get 58 or 52mm throttle body
Like i said, I window shop in my spare time and I have a list of stuff i would like to do to my car but its just a matter of time and money.

Is the AS&M 58mm twin butterfly worth the extra money over other 58mm? I know the AS&M claim that it flows 1100CFM, but in comparisson to what of other brands?
I don't think its significantly better, no. Now a monoblade is a different story...
