New MC installed, drove it up to the tuner (20+ mile drive) yesterday. He's working on "street manners" first, has reported that at 3/4 throttle, it has "traction issues until 3rd gear".

Supposed to hit the dyno tomorrow for the WOT tuning. Cutting it close, but should be ready for Friday.

For the dyno action, I'll have to rely on the shop, since I'll be at work. But, he asked me if it would be okay to take and post video and pics, so it sounds like they'll be taking care of that.

And, he said he'd provide the dyno readout.

This tune is the prize for winning a "LS Shootout" specialty race in the Super Chevy Show here last August that the shop sponsors (the specialty race, that is). It was actually a "title defense", as I won it in 2012 as well; both times in the '82 Berlinetta LS1/4L60E (just a trophy in 2012 - the tune prize was especially sweet).

Guess I didn't show you this one, taken Easter Sunday after it's first bath and drive since June 2010.

In the early spring air, it ran 12.0's-12.1's. The first weekend of racing I was in 3 classes and brought home 3 trophies (plus a 4th class in the Vette also brought home a trophy). I've been skunked since.

In the warmer summer air, it's been 12-teens and 12.20's, but that's to be expected. Still not too shabby in our 5800' elevation with DA typically in the 8000-9000' range.

It's nice to have it back out. Still need to do some tuning. One O2 sensor was "lazy", so replaced it. Last weekend the MAF crapped out (last time I do business with that outfit), so replaced it.

Very good times, especially for those DA's (which I'd say are LOW for Littleton, CO!)!

Absolutely beautiful car.

It'll probably be close to 10,000' this afternoon.

Here's a vid from that first weekend. Sorry, all we had available was my cell phone, with which my son managed to get this before the battery died. This is 4th round, the 6th pass down the track.

The car is a little rough when you get up closer to it. Someday I'll get it fixed up right again.

For sure. This is a sweet combo. It still needs some fine tuning, but even in its current state, it's much nicer than the big block/carb/TH400 setup.

That's awesome glad it has worked well for you. I was considering an ls swap into my '95 but I think it will go into my '04 Trailblazer when the current motor dies. Just got a new jetboat so I think I'll need a bit more power for towing.

My LT is running like a raped ape, and I like to be different so ill prob stick with the healthy Lt1 that is in there and get some good heads and update/beef up the fuel delivery. Wouldn't mind getting her to 450+ hp.
