TB Bypass mod, I was just curious about a potential mod to the TB, would it help is the A/C refrigerant line was routed thru the TB and cold refrigerent was going thru it instead of hot water, would it cool the incoming air enough to offset the power lost by running the A/C. Whay do you think.
Really Dumb Idea, Dumb Idea, or possibly worth a shot?

No, its not going to make enough of a difference because the refrigerant doesn't make enough surface area contact with the TB through the line to make any significant temp difference, and the air is passing through so quickly it has not time to give up enough heat....no way you'll make up for the power loss of running the compressor.

But its good you're thinking out of the box.

way to think outside the box, but as stated it would not work...

i wondered the same thing a few years ago. but simply running a length of ac line tied next to a 2-3 foot section of fuel line...
