Okay guys, educate me about the shifter choices please. Prior to doing a search here, I thought the options were B&M or Hurst, but it seems that MGW is another option... and the favored one at that!
Now, they all seem to be around the same price point, so what are the pros and cons of each?

I am happy with my HURST Pro Billet. Have heard good reports on MGW.

i had a hurst and it was nice. but i drove my buddies TA with an MGW and i fell in love. bought the MGW the next week and havent looked back. its very quick and literally slides into the direction you want it in. lol MGW for the win with me.

I have a pro 5.0 in my 00 Z. It's been there since about a month after I bought it, June of 00. No problems with it and I never miss a shift because of rubbery feeling shifter.
