Which would be best a 355, 383, out 396 Stroker kit I'm New to this lt1 thing and thanks to y'all for the transmission help it runs strong now

Depends on what you are trying to do.

If you don't have the money for awesome heads then don't 383 or bigger because you're heads will restrict your VE.

First off, a 355 isn't a stroker. It's just a regular 350 with .030 overbore to freshen things up.

The 383 and 396 are only worth it if you plan on running some real heads, but by that point you're knee deep in LT1 crap and the hp per $ will be so deflated it's not really worth it imo.
