I plan to add a 250 shot of Nitrous to my LT1. I need help deciding what heat range on my spark plugs I should run.

N/A set-up:
388 cid (forged rotating assembly, H-beam rods)
13.5:1 compression ratio
280/290 advertised duration, 250/260 duration at 0.020 lift 109 lobe separation angle
0.021 quench area
I am current running NGK TR4 (a 4 heat range), and they look like the engine is running slightly rich.

I have read that I should start off by going down a heat range for every 75 hp increase of nitrous I use.

What's your opinion?

Yes, sprayed motors need a cooler heat range plug. Don't know how cool you need to go, however.

I would start cooler than you need then get hotter step by step until you find the best one.
