A spark plug reading will indicate whether there is a lean condition in that cylinder, but it sounds more like an oil delivery problem, particularly since it is a new build. And, when "overnight cold," how does the clearance compare to the others?
Rocker Chirping, discolored, hot to the touch, rough idle?
So i have a weird chirp coming from the rear passenger side rocker, removed the covers, only to notice it was a different color than the rest. when i tried to manually adjust it was extremely hot unlike the rest as well. Car also has always seemed to surge and run a little rough down low. Was wonder what everyones thoughts are? lifter? possible vacuum leak causing lean conditions to the cylinder? Car has a comp cam xr282 very low miles on the set up.
