So me and my friend that will be helping me with my LT1 build have been discussing what all I want to do with my engine. I would really like to bump the compression up to around 11.5:1 so I was wanting to get my stock heads milled. The cam I will be using is a LE 226/232 .578/.574 and I was wondering if we would run into any clearance problems if I have the heads milled a little? Stock bottom end. I'm not sure how much it would require along with a smaller head gasket to reach 11.5:1 so I would like to know that as well. We haven't actually started working on the motor yet or we would just check everything ourselves. Just have to wait for him to finish his current project before we can begin on mine so I'm just getting as much info as I can beforehand.
