I apologize, not much substance or helpful info in this post, but I'm all stoked as I did my first work to the new Caprice. I replaced the locked up power antenna a couple days ago, new-to-me unit works great. Now *everything* works on this thing, woohoo!

Before, with the CVPI daily driver that I need to sell:

And after...look, proof! No antenna up now! :)

Nice man! I wish they put power antennas on the camaros lol. Well they didn't on mine anyway I have to unscrew it every time I put the cover on my car.

Ha! Heh no way...this is some kind of bizarro-world thing...because I have to do the same exact thing to my '91 Mustang every time I put the cover on him, have to unscrew the antenna. xD

Probably get flamed for this but this is what it looks like:

Haha I won't get on you for having a rustang I appreciate a nice fox body. That car is in great shape! Yeah for some reason gm didn't put power antennas on the 4th Gen camaro's. I'm pretty sure all the firebird's have them. At least the higher end ones do. My wife almost threw out my antenna last week she thought it was junk I was like NOOO! Haha

Huh, that's interesting that the 4th gen Firebirds have power antenna's but the Slomaros don't. (LOL Hey you called my Car a 'rustang', you had that coming) ;)

And geez, yeah that'd be a bad day..."Honey, where's my antenna?"

So I know this is off topic for this forum, but I *am* brand new to it and since you said you actually appreciate a nice Fox body...and after beating my serious health issues last summer and then having the greatest weekend of my life open tracking my Car for the first time ever and then achieving this, I gotta share and just let the pics do the talking:

Haha yes I did have that coming. That car is in amazing shape for being 25 years old! I bet that was a lot of fun getting to drive the track at Pocono and show off your car. I've got several friends that have really nice mustangs, but it is rare to meet someone who is in to mustangs and Chevy's at the same time especially Lt1's:). That's great that you beat your health condition and now can enjoy life and your cars good for you.

:D Yep, as we all know Mustang and Camaro guys aren't supposed to get along...but I figure heck we ALL have pride regarding our cars, why not just love the fact that we're all into *cars*? And good ones at that! If it wasn't for guys like us be it Ford, GM, or Mopar guys, everyone would be driving Prius's and praying for death. LOL

Thanks for all the kind words buddy, both about me AND my Car, much appreciated.

And yes I can not WAIT to start doing more stuff to the Caprice. :D
