now when you say new GP's, are you referring to the 04'-newer bodystyle, or just the supercharged GP's in general? The 97'-03' guys are doing quite well, but it's just taking a lil longer for the 04'-newer bodystyle to catch on. I mean, you start off with a better platform, as the 04'-newer GTP's/CompG's got bigger blowers, better rods and pistons, better suspension, etc.. The only downfall to them are the PCM's. Although the newer GP's make 20 more hp and 20 more tq, they are generally a hair slower due to the massive amounts of TQ management GM installed in the PCM's from the factory. But, an aftermarket PCM will cure that right up. There are quite a few 04'-newer GP's in the 12's right now, and 2 in the 11's, with several in the 13's. They make power easily, but people are still trying to figure out the fueling that's been programmed into the factory PCM's. Somehow, no matter what you change in the PCM for fuel delivery, the PCM always seems to re-learn back to stock. It's still something some of the major tuners are trying to figure out.
