hey i have a 97 trans am, the car is red, i have red and black racing seats but i have stock black and tan interior. i was thinking the door panels would look good black with red inserts where they are tan. i know they make interior paint but ive never used it. im worried about fading, cracks, and scratches, and i dont know how it would work on the pleather inserts, if i had a spare set of panels i would try it but i cant get a set for under 100 bucks and thats alot just for an experiment. does anyone have any tips or ideas of what i could do here?

painting door panels
my buddy did his door panels with duplicolor's vinyl and fabric paint. its pretty wild i thought it would crack and such but you can push on it all you want and nothing happens. it has great adhesion as well. i used black on my interior plastics and it has worked great so far.
