Running in the Fall Series here at Bandimere, known in the past for cool temps and dry air. Today we had the cool temp, but there was fog hanging around when they opened the gates. By the first TT, it was still hazy, but at least not foggy.

They seemed to have prepped the track well, 1st run was a good (but not best) 60', but the ET was the best it's run by over .07 sec. - 13.558 @ 99.03. DA was about 7650 at the time, humidity (which seems to affect the car more than DA would indicate) was over 65%, weighed 3850 on the track scales. Adjusting for elevation only, that translates to a 12.57 @ 106.7. Later in the day, when DA was over 8500 and humidity 40%, it still pulled off a 13.59 @ 98.5.

I'm happy with the times, but not so pleased with the first round -.007 RT...

That would definitely explain it lol. I live in SC, highest DA we've had is 2400...I'm sure you'd love to have that lol.

I ran it at Topeka in 2002 and 2004, and Pomona in 2004 - both 1100' elevation tracks, neither get NHRA altitude corrections. The car has gotten quicker in small increments over time. In 2002, I was running mid-14's here, 1st run in Topeka in 2002 the DA was 3500' and it ran 13.81 (storm front moving in, barometric pressure falling, humidity rising). Later that weekend, DA was around 1200', it ran a 13.48. Those were my first runs under 14.0 and over 100 MPH.

Last year in Topeka, I was running in NHRA Sportsman, and Division V has a 13.00 minimum dial in rule. I was running 13.9's here by then, and with the lower elevation, it was running 12.9's. I spent 3 days trying to figure out how to slow it down without ruining RT, by Sunday eliminations nature took care of it with hot temps and a 15 MPH head wind.

In Pomona, I filled up the gas tank and backed the timing off 4 degrees. The quickest it ran that weekend was 13.03 - mission accomplished.
