obd ll for smart phone

I've got a 1997 ws6 m6. Just curious if anyone has used oneof these devices and which would be best form my year and model . I've seen some fairly cheap online.

I have the Torque app on my android and its an awesome tool. It lets you monitor several different things in live time. Well worth the 40 or so dollars(minus phone) invested.

I did see the Torque app is key. What interface adapter do u use. What year is your car?
