Welcome to the forum. If it's info you want, we got plenty. To start your learning experience, go to the 4th gen section. In the sticky threads at the top, you'll find the 4th gen parts books. Very handy to have around.

Also in the 4th gen section, in the regular threads, look for one titled "GM service manuals" You'll find factory service manuals for 94, 96, 98, 99, & 00 there to download.

What part of TN? I grew up in the Chattanooga area.

The tricities, mostly Johnson City though. I've visited Nashville, Chattanooga, Cookeville and a few other places in TN but Johnson City was my favorite.
