Hey hows it going, my names Ryan, and I'm from south jersey! Been a long time browser but in January I had my scion tc rear-ended and totaled out. From the point I found out what I was getting from insurance I decided I was going to buy something outright so I wouldnt have payments anymore and I've always wanted a 4th gen transam after I had a 3rd gen as my 2nd car that I destroyed (caugh) :craz28:. I found one after some searching. 95 trans am 150k on the body with a new crate motor put in it at 145k. She def needs some love, time, and a little bit more cash to get her right but so far I'm loving her besides a bad trans vibration which we believe is from misinstalled/unbalanced flywheel that I'm just waiting for some shop time to fix. Shes got the red leather interior (needs some work) and full bbk exhaust and few other things here and there. Hopefully once shes driving right and get some nice stretch of weather n park her for little bit in the summer while I ride my streetbike and do a 503cam and long tubes, but thats as much as I have planned for her performance wise as I want her to be my daily driver so not going crazy! Nice to meet you and hope be long time browser/user of the forums.

Her before I picked her up

After I put new wheels and tires as I wanted to be able to put all season tires on without spending fortune all the time! (corvette wheels to biiggg XD)

Welcome and good looking car. Interesting mod to the front bumper cover where it meets the hood.
Nice car & story. Welcome.

I thought it was interesting as well, when guy sent me pictures i thought it was a hole at first but then when I saw it i thought was pretty cool idea, but it needs some work , from far away looks fine but the seams where they pulled it down and filled are cracking and body filler on the flat spot isnt done great. My father and I are gona strip bumper down eventually and fix it right.
Nice Ta. Welcome:)
Welcome, red leather is a rare option if the car was factory equipped. What were the original wheels? They looked good.

Look like C5 thin spokes but the rears have a good size lip. Hmmm.

Yes its def factory becuase the door panels match as well and from the vin :) the back seats are mint but the passenger seat is torn good, drivers isnt 2 bad will get em redone in future. I still have the wheels but i need to get them repaired a little bit, one has a scuff/chip from what looks like a lift, and one has curb or pothole mark no bends or anything. I was told they were off a z06 I dont really know corvette rims well so not sure. The guy I bought it from didnt have money to buy the right tires so he stretched em bad on the rear but they werent the right size on the front either. There a staggered setup 18x 11 or 11.5 and 17 x9.5 . I liked them but I needed all seasons. I'll most likely make them my summer rims and get good tires for em once there fixed, or I may sell them before I put good tires on em who knows!
interesting kitt scanner on the front. i have one on my car too but i mounted it under the hood so it shows through the gap between the hood and bumper.

No scanner they actually reformed the bumper and body filled riveted it for that flat spot, speaking of kit scanner though when i got the car I was thinking that I could easily put a bar on the flat spot lol since its like that, would probably look sweet.
yeah thats maybe what it was originally intended for? i didn't want to cut up my bumper to install one so i just put it inside the car. here's a video of mine showing it talking like kitt as well (i have an app on my phone that controls that and a bluetooth speaker i put under the hood at car shows)

Do c5's have that little turn on the spokes too? They are probably oe wheels deep dish c5's, they just caught my eye.
I liked the rims myself, but i just couldnt find the right size combinations for all season tires for those rim dimensions , and I didnt want to stretch tires again so i bought rims and tires for amount i probably would have spent on just tires for the corvette rims.. Like said If i feel like i want to use em ill put summers on or sell em! I really like torque thrust style on 4th gens though ^.^
ended up fixing my vibration issue last night and this morning. The car had an aftermarket racing clutch and flywheel setup. The clutch and flywheel was shot but the balancing of the flywheel was the vibration problem. The removable weight on flywheel once removed got rid of all vibrations. We ended up geting an oem replacement flywheel and napa clutch. Had to grind the weight off the replacement flywheel to balance it but shes smooth and silk now, like a new car!
Am I seeing a carbon fiber hood?

Yea it was on the car when i bought it, the guy didn't have the stock hood guess he did something to it, have some plans for it or get a different one (as can see doesnt fit perfect) when I patch up the body and get new paint job.
Damned, truly head turner. Nice shots.
