I froze my ass off in a tree stand. For five hours. It was so cold and windy I saw six squarrels go into the same hole in a stump. For what? A secretive and elusive beast. I have not seen yet but know he's out there in the forest. Gonna do it again in the morning, wish me luck!!!!

Craz I haven't seen crap either. I set out there from 5 till 9 yesterday while it snowed. Then sleeted and said screw it. I haven't seen crap all week. And all i wanted was some deer jerky.

I bought a TV wednesday haha. Wal-mart was having their pretty much all week. 32" Samsung, looks good

Laptop looks good. I'm liking the Windows 7 personally, I'm going to stick with it. Was $30 since I'm a student. I need a good desktop though. Integrated graphics are pretty much useless. If I just had a graphics card in my computer the Windows Exp Index would be well into the 5's. Instead it sits at a 3.1

Snagged a blu-ray and a mini notebook pc and didn't even have to slug anyone.

I have to agree about windows 7. I installed it on my old notebook over the weekend and spent all weekend trying to crash it. I finally did it in with a nasty virus, but it took some doing to screw it up. It's everything Vista "should" have been.

While I dislike Microsoft to death, and love my Macs, Windows 7 IS nice. I actually decided to keep it on my laptop rather than installing Linux.. (for now anyway, mmuuwwaaahahahaha)

I saw one deer. At 6:30 AM on opening day. It was clear out and I just got in my stand 10 mins earlier. It was this years so it was really tiny. No antlers. And even though I have 2 doe tags I can't bring myself to kill what is essentially a fawn. Later that day a guy hunting the same land as me (It's a sportsmans club) pulls 2 "fawns" out of the woods on this atv. The same guy also killed 2 more deer of small statue this year. The fawn I let go most likely is dead :craz28:

EDIT: Cool laptop btw. I love mine as well. I have a Dell Vostro 1500. I picked all the top of the line stuff. I even avoided getting vista and got xp haha

That sucks but you did the right thing.Reminds me of a nice little pond id fish for Largemouth Bass not far from my house and would pull up tons of 2-4lb'ers.Id go just to fish and would catch and release.Let em get Big before I keep any.Black Guy starts coming just about everytime Im there and im sure a lot more when I wasn't.He would keep every single one he caught.About a Month later,you could fish with Dynamite and come home with nothing.Sucks

All it takes is one or two guys to mess up something that is great for everyone else. You bet your ass at the next club meeting I'm saying something. The guy isn't getting too popular with the other members for his actions. I'm going to propose that no deer under a year old ("fawns") and possibly no does to be shot next season. There is state land bordering our club. If you want to destroy the deer population then do it on state land. Don't ruin the club for everyone else.

I'd say you got a pretty good deal. I LOVE having a 17 inch screen. My next laptop will probably be an 18.

Not a bad deal. I have a DV4 and love it. Funny, I went with a smaller screen when I got this one because my old one was always a tight fit in any of the cases I had and it was just a pain to lug the big thing around.
