Or what you guys prefer? What makes LT1 more powerful and louder? Ive seen a couple of videos of SPINTECH and GMMG sounds great when installed, but what about BORLA,MAGNAFLOW,FLOWMASTER, and others

Mufflers are like food - everyone likes something different. What sounds good to you, may sound like ass to me. I have been running Dynomax VT's for a year now and I like them. Lots of sound and rumble, no drone, mash it and they scream.

 

I have a magniflow on my 95. It's more mellow when just cruising around. Then gets loud when you floor it. Being older, I enjoy the mellow cruising sound of the magniflow.

 

I ran 4" mufflex on my 96 it had a 50 series flow master it sounded good had a very deep sound. Spintech also sounds good on these cars but it's not a mellow sound it's aggressive and loud depending on what your cat setup is. With a hi flow cat she will scream.

Borla is the ultimate sound for me.

 

OK.....you F-body fellas do realize that a single F-body exhaust will sound different than a dual B-body exhaust.....even giving an identically spec'ed engine.....right?
