-^~^-^~^- Need Help Wiring LED's -^~^-^~^-

OK people I'm looking to add a little light to my interior I recently seen a guy add L.E.D.'s to his head liner to add more light ,color and depth to his interior and they came out pretty good! So I was looking to do the same.. My only problem is my I'm no electrician! And need a little help with resistors and wiring.. So here is my idea ( picture below) can some one please draw me up something similar to show how I should wire it , what fuses to work with and where should I get the power from.....? I purchased another headliner to kind of play around with and determine how I plan to add the holes to the fabric with out causing the headliner to peal or become damaged. . .

I need some more info. What are the specs of the LED's? I.E. what is the reccomended voltage, and current (mA) It would be alot easier if all of the LEDs have the same recommended voltage and max current.

Do you understand this diagram I am writing? I can explain if you need me too.
RESSISTOR (10 Ohm, 1/2 watt) = http://www.radioshack.com/product/i...#047;2+Watt+Resistors&fbc=1&parentPage=family

RESSISTOR (22 Ohm, 1/2 watt) = http://www.radioshack.com/product/i...#047;2+Watt+Resistors&fbc=1&parentPage=family

You NEED two separate 5V sources. One for the white ones, and one for the red ones. I can put in some switches in my diagram if it is nessasary.

EDIT: Is the cigarette lighter 5V, or 12V? You could just take out the cigarette lighter, and run the wire up too the headligner along the post of the car (Dont know what else to call it). That would require removing the dash though.

I am having a hard time understanding the diagram can you draw it kind of how I have mine on the headliner? It would really out. Thank you! I'm not too familiar with working with LEDs and resistors
