I know you can convert a non vented into a vented opti

But, can you convert a spline into the pin opti?

because I have a 93 opti, and want to put it on my 95, but the 93 has spline drive...... how can I make it work?

that's the whole idea of the conversion.

you need to swap the cam too afaik there's no other way (except the MSD unit which provides you a vent) or hacking a vent into the non-vented one.

To put a spline drive opti on a 95, you would have to change the timing cover and the cam sprocket and you might need to shorten the cam dowel pin. You would also need the electrical pigtail for the spline drive opti. I wouldn't recommend giving up the vented opti on the 95. Seems like a lot of work to go backwards in reliability.
Or here is a way to Vent your non-vented by adding fittings and vac hoses to the three drain holes on the bottom of yours...
I'm confused? You wana remove...........oh wait read it wrong. Just buy a vented opti. No need to change all that.
