First off, I hate my 3.73's. I kept bogging off the line and I was shifthing into 4th at about the 1200' mark. :sulk:

Oh well, I need a 9" with 4.11's so I can run my 28" Hoosiers.

Anywho, here was my best run:

60' - 2.115 :thumbdown
330' - 5.589
1/8 - 8.328
MPH - 94.37
1000' - 10.659
1/4 - 12.624 :thumbdown
MPH - 120.06 :thumbsup:



So the car is making the power, I'm just not putting it to the ground. It doesn't matter what I did, I couldn't hook the car well. It would either bog bad or spin hard.

The last run (the one above) I spun off the line which I think is what allowed me to shift into 4th early enough to get my MPH where it should be.


Oh well. I'll have a little something come spring. :devil:

BTW I ran on Nitto's today.

a car makeing 120 mph and you run nittos???

with your mph the 28" s would have been just fine... but you are right, you definatly need that 9" in there first...

congrats on the MPH...

a 1.7 60' would have been an 11.8-9 run...

It's coming. Moser 9" w/ 4.11's. I already have 28" Hoosiers (I'm afraid to use them now though). 6000 dump here I come!

i only have one piece of advise.....

duct tape your rearview mirror the first time you do it or 1.5's will be the only good number you get...lol...

crossing the 1.5 threshold the rearview mirror pops off and is only caught by the wire running to the lights , so it make a huge banging noise that can make you jump out of the gas if you are not expecting it... ;)

i wish i could ride shotgun with him the first time he does cut a 1.5 or better.... just to get a picture of the OH SHIT!!!! face :lol:

With your power level I think that 1.5x short times are very capable.
On my Hoosiers when I get the rear I think 1.5's are very possible. The only problem I have now is getting moving. Once I get traction, I'm not too bad.

And yes I still have the price Eric PM'd me with on the 9". ;)

That's some good MPH. You should see how far you can push the little 10-bolt.:)

If I had my trailer I would have. I would have brought my 28" Hoosiers and on my last pass put them on just to see what happened. But I felt like driving my car there so I left the trailer at home.

No way, thats crazy. but good job on the mph miller. :D

Oh come on. You are telling us you could not get a sub 2.0 with a Nitto with that much power? I have seen them cut 1.6Xs. I am not one to critisize though. I am still learning to get out of the hole too. And babying the 10 even though I built the shit out of it. I wish I had a trailer. I would drop on that 10 with my MTs all day. I bet it would hold if I had a trailer. LOL.
