Thats just a JAZ Accumulator/breather... There is also one on the pass side firewall>> I am trying to get around running a vacuum pump...I have the pump and a layout ready if needed>>But Im doing all I can to avoid it..LOL...
I run those breather tanks to catch any blowby PPlus its the easiest way to have a "secure" breather if you will for NHRA compliance..
blow by sucks,
i had a t-type not to long ago, but it quite running and at the time i had very limited car knowledge and couldnt fix it.
wish i still had it. the car only had 34k mile on it 2 owner car, the guy that bought assured me it would get fixed right.
yea it ended up in a junk yard, with the engine and tranny in a street rod.
very upsetting to me.
I am in the process of putting together a set-up very similar to yours. Ive been kind of researching as I go and am really interested in knowing the details of your set-up if you wouldn't mind. Like the type of intake manifold you used and are you running a stock production block?? I really appreciate it and very nice job on your engine!!
Thanks,
Derek
Block is a dart LIttle M.. 406 forged assembly.. Manifold is a DFI PRO Ram, I milled it on a bridgeport to 1206 Race gasket... Heads Brodix track 1 cncd heads.. then a precision turbo elbow and a accufab 90mm mustang throttlebody..
Cam specs... Unfortunatley Im not one of those guys who can rattle them out off the top of my head...LOL..
I had a custom one made specifically for my exact setup...Its not an off the shelf grind.. Solid roller.. There is a guy that used to work at crane cams who built turbo cars...Cant remember his name now...Ive got it at home...anyway I worked with him on the grind.. He made it for me in their lab...
