I have a concept I want to run by the sponsors here.
What I'd like to do is offer Supporting Members here a 5% discount on purchases from our sponsors. This encourages members to shop the sponsors, and it helps me sell more supporting memberships.
Since that means 5% coming out of the bottom line for you guys, this would be an optional program, but participating in it would cut your sponsorship fee by a certain amount.
I would also increase the price of the Supporting membership since the benefit to the members would be greatly increased.
Sponsors can easily go to the Member list page and search for a member to verify their status before applying the discount.
What do you guys think of this?
