I'm in the beginning process of building a new motor for my 93. So far I'm looking at a preliminary cost of $12K done right. 383 shortblock, TFS heads, shaft mount rockers, FAST XFI, ect. ect. ect.

Dang. This is gonna be a LONG project. But worth it in the end.

Have you called RPM? They have awesome pricing and do some great LT1 work.

I'm actually sitting where I want to be in terms of pricing and whom I've talked to. I just started with a base of about $8K and have watched that take a very quick 4K jump based on some things necessary to make my HP goals and do it safely.

I'm shooting for 600+ at the flywheel on a semi-streetable 383 solid roller with a 23* valvetrain. :D

N/A ....

In terms of what on the build sheet? I'm just begining to really map out what's going to go into it and I've just begun talking to AI about the top end of the motor.
