I'll be buying a set of long tube headers soon. Specifically pacesetter. I'm going with the no EGR option, but should I get the 02 extensions? I'll be running a X pipe with no cats or anything, but I still need 02's don't I? I'm not sure what they do for the engine so I don't even know if you need them in the first place. Excuse my need to learn these things lol.

Yes you will need the extensions from what I've read . The o2 sensors tell the computer lots of different info , rich Lean Temps and adjust fuel and such to accommodate . That's a rough go of what the sensors do . Trying to type on iPhone and fat fingers don't mix well . Sorry for spelling and such lol

You need the first set of o2 sensors (would be before the "cats") ...and the rear o2 set (after the cats) either you need extensions to keep them, splice in some Sims (tells the pcm they're in there) or just delete them and have it tuned out.
