LE Trick Flows

I'm biting the bullet and sending Lloyd money on Wed. for a set of his 21* Trickflows. I believe he said it's going to have around a 210 intake port and 54 cc chamber. It's going into a stock bottom end with a 226/234 cam w/1.6 rockers. Started pulling the motor today to do some other maintenance. All of the reviews I've read on these heads were installed on 383's. Should I be O.K with such a large head on 350? My initial plans of going straight to a 383 were quickly diminished once I talked to a local shop on what it would cost to do it right. If I waited to do it all at once, my car would be collecting even more dust than it already has.

That's a lot of intake with a small cam and small cubes. It will work but not optimal. Probably be a bit sluggish down low. You will need some gears and stall if auto.

Those heads with this http://www.ls1lt1.com/forum/parts-sale/56812-fresh-rebuilt-forged-lt1-4-383ci-short-block.html would make for a very impressive package.

That being said......a stock bottom end will 'like' the LE1 and LE2 heads a lot more than the Trick Flows.

As mentioned......overly large intake ports on a stock bottom end will make for a lazy performer at lower (-3000) RPMs.

Thanks for the suggestions. I'm sending Lloyd my 1561 castings and he is going to turn them in for a small core charge to pick up a set he can work the LE2 package into. Hopefully sending them out Thursday if I can get the time. I have a yank 2800 and eaton posi w/gears. Just need to install them which I plan on doing all at once.
Sounds good keep up posted on progress.
