Its going to be a lot louder. I don't know exactly how much in decibles but louder for sure.

I think you will GAIN HP vs. having a clogged catalytic converter.

 

Well vs having a clogged one yes. But you will still lose back pressure making it slower than one with a good cat. So get a new one on quick.

 

If you're going to hook the exhaust back up without the converter I think you'll be fine...it'll be louder but I don't think too bad. And I think it'll make more HP than with any converter.

That's not true. You will lose a slight bit of backpressure, but you will GAIN horsepower, which is much more valuable then a little bit of backpressure. Theses cars have plenty of power to destroy the tires, a little less backpressure is a good thing.

I run !CATS, and picked up about 7-10rwhp on the dyno.

 

i had no cat on my 95 and when i sold it the person that bought it had to put one one to get a sticker,i heard it after it got one put on and there was hardly any difference in sound

 

so with just pipes running from the motor to the tips it isnt going to be a whole lot louder fbodyhp.
