You might want to try www.ls1gto.com ... I've been a member over there for about a year. I don't post a whole lot, but you might find what you are looking for.

We have one in our stable it is an 04 red with red interior has a NastyPerformance custom intake, ram air hood and 18"wheels for now. Long tubes and suspension to come.

I don't have one but I want one real baaaad. I love the GTO. Scary thing is if I could any car and mod it the way I want it I'd rather have a GTO than a Corvette. And I've always been a huge Corvette fan.

I tinkered with the idea if getting one a little while back and now that the newer models should be coming with LS2's, the LS1 models should be getting cheaper to buy.

05+=LS2

Dislikes:
rear seat access, seat is combersome and slow
lack of trunk space
no door lock switch
no oil pressure gauge

Like pretty much everything

The '06s will have a door lock switch (on the dash if I'm not mistaken). Just a little tid-bit I picked up off a GTO site/forum.

I saw a pic, actually... it's on the console between the seats... it utilizes the "dead" buttom next to the Traction Control button on the 04 and 05 models.

Add one more to the mix. I have no track times but dynoed 354/344 stock at 800 miles and since then added an AEM CAI which bumps that about 10. I see that as a bookmark on my throttlebody until I figure out which supercharger to use :lol:
