Interesting project, and it runs, but not exactly accurate in claims to have elminitated the opti.....I personally don't see where it has any improvement, the opti's weaknesses are still there.

But regardless its an interesting experiment and I give the guy credit for thinking outside the box.

Stronger ignition but still runing through the opti, which means opti failure due to ozone buildup will happen sooner.

So if he had the intake drilled for a dizzy and stuck one in the back and just left the opti plugged in that would fix his problems completely right?

You need a working Opti Sensor for the delteq. A few of my club member have used it, Sicne the rotor is gone and not striking the pickups in the cap, the ozone build up is not too bad. The non vented optis still suffer from the moisture problem.
