I'm gettin my 94 Camaro z28 inspected tommoro , and it has straight pipes and no muffler and bad upper tie rod (but I have it). My friend brought his Camaro there with straight pipes and he passed it and two other my friends did with there mustangs to . So you think il be fine with no muffler to? And if I unplug battery will check engine light go off

......And if I unplug battery will check engine light go off
Yes. And when you reconnect the battery, the CEL will come back on.

You might want to scan for whatever code flipped the CEL and fix that.....only way to be sure to set things straight.

Does autozone scan 94 camaros? and where do they plug in

I wish there was a like button...
94 camaro, pull the PCM batt fuse for 30 seconds, with key off, then re install. the CEL will go off, but my come right back on, or may come back on in 3 hours... 3 days... etc. depending on what the code is/was. no autozone cannot scan a 94. a 94 uses a ALDL OBD1 connector that you cannot use a jumper on. you must use a real OBD1 scanner that does not look for a 12V signal. they can be expensive. i picked a Autoxray Codescout1500 up at a local pawn shop for 50 bucks, came with OBD1 GM, Ford and Chrysler cables, and a OBD2 cable. 200 bones off hte shelf... they plug in on the right side under the drivers dash... right about where your right shin bone is when driving.
