Headers and Air Conditioning Fitment

I took the leap and have put on a set of long tube headers on my LT1. I'm getting all the rest of the incidentals hooked up. I'm running into a problem with my AC pump pluming. Specifically, the pipe is making direct contact with the header tube. This has got to be bad juju. I imagine if I were to run things like this, my AC would develop serious problems. Probably melt the AC pipe. Does anyone else running headers also run their AC? How did you make that all work?
