hey i know its about a year off still but you guys could do it this year if you could get it organized. i just wont have a car to run in it yet. Anyways, i was reading a magazine the other day (forget which one) and i read how they were having a drag week where you bring a car and everything you need to keep it running/fixit it has to be in the car. They cover 5 tracks in 5 days and the lowest averag ET wins. they go to 5 different tracks but the tracks are a few hundred miles apart so it has to be a street car too cuz theres no support vehicles allowed what so ever. I just read that and thought it sounded like a blast and maybe you guys would be interested in running the same sorta thing next summer

Sounds cool. I'd like to do a Burnoutbox.com event but I think we have to think small and work our way up.

Just one race alone at one track is a big enough thing to set up and run.

ya i get what ya mean, could always include other forums/clubs and have each club/forum handle one track or just go to the actual drag week event if they hold it again next year

And/or recruit guys from the track. I just took 2nd in the n/a class in Bound by Boost's event today... I showed up to test'n'tune and they invited me to run (I paid the entry fee for the comp. It was a pretty good deal :))

I was thinking about it on the way back, but it seemed like a really good way to not only spread the name but also defer the cost of the partial track rental too.

I'd definitely like to brainstorm more about a Burnoutbox.com event. Beech Bend in Bowling Green KY would be easiest. We can talk about classes, etc. and maybe by this time next year have something concrete to put together.
