Hey, so i bought my camaro with a fm 80 series. i wanna replace the cat with a muffler and the run a y out the back ( i like the dual outlet look) anyway i was thinking of using a flowmaster 40 series. I know backpressure is bad and i can imagine that type of muffler creates more than a magnaflow. But this is My daily car and i cant go faster than 35 in town so i wanna keep some low end at the cost of high end. Anyway has anyone done this before? if so how did it sound or work out?

Since you know flowmasters don't flow well, they will make your car sound good, however. If you have access to a pipe bender, welder, and such, you can do the job. A lift would make it much easier also, but it can be done by 4 pointing the car and lying on your back.

Harbor freight sells a pipe bender at a reasonable price if you don't have access to one. Handy tool to have around.
