A local club had a track day @ Beech Bend today and I had been holding out to run my car in the 1/4 until today. While I was dissapointed with the times I was very happy with my MPH. I could not hook, time for a set of new tires, probably new Mickey Thompson Radials.

60'-1.807
330'-5.160
1/8-7.864
MPH-92.59
1000-10.18
1/4-12.11
MPH-117.5
And here's the numbers with a good driver( Jessie Coulter AKA: RED91Z):

60'-1.92
330'-5.183
1/8-7.838
MPH-93.75
1000-10.106
1/4-12.002
MPH-119.3

with 119 mph you have mid 11's in her for sure was this done on street tires?

with an easy to acheave 1.7 60' it would have run 11.6 on the last run...

by the way, what were the da's ?

That was on BFG's with the cords showing (didn't see that till after my last run). I'm thinking about going with Mickey's. DA I'm not sure, the temp was close to 90? though.

DA there is normally pretty low. I think BB is only like 600-800 feet above see level IIRC... I could be wrong though... but I think that is what I heard...

DA or true elevation?

90* days usually have DA's in the 1500-2000 range on our sea level track...

DA at Beech Bend has always been way high to me. At least 1000', and if it was 90* out, probably closer to 2000'. Dew points are usually in the low 60s, temp at 90*, and humidity has been about 30% here lately. At sea level and 0' DA that would have been an 11.8 @ 122 run I'm going to say. With better weather and a better 60' you've got mid 11s in the bag. Get some tire under that car.
