Any shortie or mid length header with a C.A.R.B. EO number. Look into SLP, MAC, Edlebrock, RK Sport/Arizona Speed and Marine, Pacesetter, JBA.

JBA is the only one I have seen with CARB certification. I would like to get LT or at least Mid-length as the shorties don't seem to improve performance much vs the install effort. Anyone in CA run LTs and just change them out for smogging?

I heard LT's are a BIG no-no in CA........tuff state! Why the states are so FUBAR'd, who knows? MD western shore has inspection, but the eastern shore has no inspection stations east of Kent Island. Once inspected, you can do just about anything until a cop gets PO'd and issues you an inspection citation.

Any shorty header is legal in California with CARB number. Mid and long tube headers are illegal cause they both move the cat back.

You can run mid or long tube headers in Cali and find a dirty smog shop that you can pay off.

If you would like to know which aftermarket parts are legal, check out the (EO) database on the California Gov website.
http://www.arb.ca.gov/msprog/aftermkt/devices/amquery.php

If you have some time on your hands, you can do a search by "listing the executive orders by device".
It's a huge list so you'll have to keyword which manufacturer your looking for. Just cross reference the part number that your inquiring. Hope this helps.
