My car is throwing an EGR code, im assuming from my exhaust setup? Would deleting the egr solve this? And are there any other pros to buying to block off plates, since there so cheap I just thought why not.
I simply deleted the EGR on my car and no codes shown, mine is a obd2 1996, I knew my egr was not working since I plugged in the vacuum and the car stalled after lets say 3 min running. unplugged it and the car didnt stall and die.
you wont get any performance or so from this, basically you would be cleaning out your engine bay to have a cleaner look. its worth it
if you clear codes and dont fix the problem, they will show up. so if your o2 sensor is bad, then it will show every time, might not be in the moment but it will show
