egr block off question

hey guys i have a 95 z28 lt1 that i just bought a set of long tubes for without the emisions on them my question is do i have to buy block off plates or is it possible for me to run my car without the blockoff plates for now?

Get the plates, they're cheap

To answer your question, if you have a good, sealing EGR valve in place, you don't need to buy any plates. Cap off the vacuum supply to the valve, so it cannot operate.

thanks exactly what i needed to know i already installed my headers and didnt buy any plates but still need to drive it till they get in was wondering if i could just seal them off till then thanks!
